Last Friday, ISJ held its annual Inter-House Quiz, and the atmosphere did not disappoint. House chants rang out as the competition got underway, with four students from each house taking to the stage to battle through rounds of general knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork.
It was a closely fought contest from the very first round. The lead changed hands more than once, keeping spectators and participants on the edge of their seats throughout the afternoon.
Lewis Takes the Title
In the end, Lewis House clinched the win, earning Oswald the Owl for this academic year. Notably, this is the second consecutive year that Lewis House has claimed the Quiz trophy, a fine achievement that reflects both the knowledge and composure their team brought to the competition.
Congratulations are due to all four houses, whose enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and brilliant participation made the event so memorable.
The House Cup Remains Open
While Lewis House has secured Oswald the Owl, the overall House Cup is still very much up for grabs. Points continue to be awarded throughout the academic year across a range of competitions and activities, and the Cup will be presented on Speech Day. Every house still has a chance to lift the ultimate prize.
